This patties are very interesting/delicious balls that come originally from Egypt and Israel People have been growing chickpeas for over 20,000 years, making them one of the early stables of the human diet and first agricultural plants.

So here I have a recipe to share with you. I hope you like it!

for 10 people

1small onion (or half of a big one)

3 garlic cloves

500g chickpeas

1/2 tsp cumin (grounded)

50g parsley (chopped)

(optional)

falafel.

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp coriander (grounded)

Soak chickpeas overnight. Rinse and dry them in the morning, process them ( in a food processor) with the other ingredients. Form balls (3 cm diameter) then deep fry them in very hot oil for 3 or more minutes

(It actually depends on how hot is your frying oil) until dark golden.
