Wal-date ice cream
My precious and only everyday treat: walnuts and dates, have now been transformed into this creamy puree.
I don’t truly know how I ended up doing this thing, but it taste and feels amazing, and the best of all: is so simple to do! I suppose you have all done some ice cream at some point of your lives, haven’t you? well, here is one more recipe to add onto your cookbooks!
I’ve only used:
- 100 g walnuts
- 80g dates (pitted)
- 5-6 ice cubes
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 150 ml almond milk
the Process is the easiest thing in the world, just ‘chuck’ everything into your blender or food processor and let it get evenly creamy (it shouldn’t take much more than a minute)
Then pour the whole thing into a bowl (which can be a salad or a mixing bowl) and freeze for a few hours (it took mine around 5 hrs to be completely frozen).
Just remember to stir a little the whole thing every hour or two when is starting to harden up.
